Alain Mikli is a french designer of high-standed handmade eyeglasses and accessories. Mikli's lines feature unique styles, colours and shape, and are a favourite among European celebrities and avant-garde Americans. Mikli claims his use of colours is inspired by his Armerinian-Lebanese heritage. In 1978, Mikli opened his design studio in Paris. By 1983, celebrities like Elton John had helped bring the line recognition by wearing and publicizing Mikli products. Approximately 500,000 pairs of Mikli Eyeglasses have been sold worldwide.
